About Tita Studio

This Privacy Policy explains how Tita Studio ("Tita", "we", "us", or "our") handles personal information collected through wearetita.com, inquiries, discovery-call bookings and related business communications.

Tita is an independent creative and social-led customer-acquisition studio operating from British Columbia, Canada. We aim to collect only information reasonably needed to respond to you, explore a working relationship and provide agreed services.

2.

Information we collect

Information you choose to send. Our contact form may request your name, email, business name, business website or social account, business location, the kind of customer action you want to improve and any additional information you provide. We also collect the content of messages and follow-up emails you send us.

Discovery-call details. When you book a meeting using our Google Calendar booking link, Google may request your name, email and any details required by that booking page. We receive the appointment information needed to arrange and conduct the meeting.

Website technical information. Our website hosting and security services may process IP addresses, browser and device details, request times, pages accessed and similar technical information needed to deliver, maintain and protect the site.

Please do not send passwords, payment-card numbers, sensitive personal details or confidential customer lists through our general inquiry form.

3.

How we use information

We use personal information for reasonable and identified business purposes, including:

  • Responding to inquiries, providing information about our services and following up on requested conversations.
  • Scheduling, confirming and conducting discovery calls.
  • Evaluating whether a project or ongoing partnership is a good fit.
  • Preparing proposals and, where applicable, administering a client relationship.
  • Operating, securing, troubleshooting and improving our website.
  • Maintaining necessary business records and complying with legal obligations.

We do not use an inquiry submission as automatic permission to add you to a promotional mailing list.

4.

Contact forms and discovery calls

Our inquiry form is built using Elementor Pro on WordPress. Depending on its live settings, submissions may be saved in the WordPress administrative dashboard and sent to an authorized Tita inbox. Access should be limited to people who need the information to respond to the inquiry.

Our discovery-call booking link opens Google Calendar appointment scheduling. Information entered there is also handled by Google according to its Privacy Policy and relevant service settings.

You may choose either route to contact us. Booking a call is not required to submit an inquiry.

5.

Cookies and website technologies

Our website and the services that support it may use cookies or similar technologies for essential functions, security and site performance. Web servers may also keep ordinary technical logs.

The site's design uses web fonts that may be served through Google Fonts. Loading a third-party font can involve a browser request to the provider, including technical connection information.

Analytics and advertising technologies. If we enable optional analytics or advertising technologies, we will describe the relevant tools, their purposes and any applicable consent or opt-out options in this policy or a related website notice. The practices described here should always reflect the services actually operating on our site.

You can manage cookies in your browser, although blocking some technical cookies may affect site functionality.

6.

Service providers and disclosure

We use service providers when necessary to operate our website and communicate with you. These can include our WordPress host, Elementor, email and security providers, and Google Calendar for appointments. Such providers may process information on our behalf or under their own applicable terms, depending on the service.

Some providers may process or store information outside British Columbia or Canada, where different laws may apply. We take reasonable steps to assess service providers and protect the information we share with them.

We do not sell inquiry information or share it with unrelated businesses for their independent marketing. We may disclose information where required or permitted by law, or with your consent.

8.

Security and retention

We take reasonable administrative and technical precautions appropriate to the information we handle. These may include access controls, secure accounts, software updates and restricting information to those who need it. No internet transmission or storage method can be guaranteed completely secure.

We retain inquiry and meeting information only for as long as reasonably necessary for the purposes described here, including follow-up, legitimate business records and applicable legal obligations. When information is no longer required, we aim to delete it or otherwise dispose of it securely.

If a project becomes a client engagement, additional operational records and data-handling arrangements may apply. Information processed on behalf of a client business is handled according to the agreed service arrangements and applicable law.

9.

Your choices and privacy requests

Subject to applicable law, you may ask about the personal information we hold about you, request access or correction, ask us to explain how it has been used or disclosed, or raise a privacy concern.

We may need to verify your identity before responding to a request that involves personal information. We will respond in accordance with applicable privacy requirements. Some records may need to be retained when the law requires it.
